Zlatá huta, spol. s.r.o. was founded in 1992. Early in 1993, which is the time also marked by the origin of the Slovak Republic, the Company entered the market in jewelry blanks. We started offering our services all around Slovakia. From the very beginning of the Company’s existence, the offered services and gold and silver material products have been achieving a competitive level. State-of-the-art processing technologies and systematic work with clients have created conditions for successful development of the Company.
From 1994 until the end of 2008, Zlatá huta spol. s r.o. operated as the general supplier of golden plates for the Kremnica Mint state enterprise, providing resources for meeting of the NBS issuing plans. Over the same period, the Company had been supplying the state-owned Kremnica Mint with Au plates for execution of various imprints for domestic and foreign investors.
The offered range of blanks is constantly being innovated according to the market demand. Availability is ensured via our branches in Trenčín, Bratislava and Levice.
Constant innovation in the jewelry production is provided through the Italian alloying ingredients’ producer our Company has a long-standing partnership with. In the portfolio, our Company offers minting of medals with options of technological and designing assistance. In the past, we implemented numerous important projects as for example the first Slovak state replicas, coin replicas from 1953 up to 1968, the Calvary of Jesus Christ, etc.
Uniqueness of these limited projects has enriched the numismatic collection fund of the Slovak coins and medals collectors.
Recently, our Company has introduced gold investment plates of 5g, 10 g, 20 g 50 g and 100 g in weight. The product qualifies as investment gold pursuant to § 67 Act No. 222/2004 Coll. on Value Added Tax. For natural persons – citizens, this product is exempt from the value added tax.
New products include the reference ingot “Slovenský filharmonik” (“Slovak philharmonic”) 1 ounce (31.10g) in weight, 999.9 fineness.
